Visit Japan Web

*Update October 17:  For Japan arrivals on or after November 14, 2022, Japan will do away with the usage of the MySOS app and will require travelers to register using Visit Japan Web. Visit Japan Web is a web browser-based program and not an app you need to download.

A new version of Visit Japan Web will be available starting November 1. The system currently has registration open but there may be changes/updates after November 1. From what I can tell, the new system will allow you to register under one account, then add additional travelers ("family members") to that account. It will also allow the electronic completion of the immigration Disembarkation Card as well as the Japan Customs Declaration form. It doesn't appear that they require vaccination cards or testing. I will update you with any new information I receive as we get closer to November 1. For now, no action is needed on your part.
