Pre-cruise Tour Itinerary overview

Spirit of The Mediterranean with Chef Eric Leterc will be offering a 3 Night Pre-Barcelona tour package in conjection with our Cruise.

Monday, June 26, 2023 will be the first day of our pre Barcelona Tour, for our guest leaving from Honolulu, HI in most cases you would leave on Saturday, June 24 in order to be in Barcelona by the 26th.

Arrivals at Barcelona International Airport: We will have a guide at the airport to assist with arrivals, Once we get everyone's flight information, we will coordinate the most efficient transportation to the El Palace Hotel Barcelona.

Welcome to the El Palace Hotel, part of the Leading Hotels of the World and located in the heart of Barcelona. Breakfast is included daily and served in the El Jardin Restaurant for up to two guest per room.

After you check in to your hotel room it’s time to relax and enjoy the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood, many shops and restaurants are just steps away.

Group dinner will be based on the flights -

Breakfast at the EL Palace Hotel – El Jardin Restaurant

9:00 AM – Pickleball Players depart hotel for the University of Barcelona. We will start off with a Clinic lead by Pickleball Spain and then we will have some practice games for the Tournament on Wednesday.

12:30 PM - Pickleball Players depart University of Barcelona for the El Palace Hotel. After some time to freshen up we will depart the hotel for the Highlights of Barcelona Tour to include Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia.

For guest not playing Pickleball we will start the day with a walking tour (buses are not allowed) of the Gothic Quarter, followed by lunch and then we will have the Pickleball players joining us for the afternoon portion of the tour to include Gaudi’s La Sarada Familia

8:30 PM – Group Dinner at 7 Ports – Seafood & Classic Paella (Traditional Spanish Rice Dishes)

Breakfast at the EL Palace Hotel – El Jardin Restaurant

9:00 AM – Pickleball Players depart hotel for the University of Barcelona. Hawaii & Barcelona Pickleball Tournament coordinated by Pickleball Spain.

12:30 PM - Pickleball Players depart University of Barcelona for the El Palace Hotel.

Pickleball players will have the opportunity to visit the Gothic Quarter this afternoon.

Guest not playing Pickleball will – **Need options for guest not playing Pickleball perhaps something culinary with shopping or touring, not sure what options would work best**

8:30 PM – Group Dinner at Tragaluz Restaurant – Modern Catalan Dinning

11:00 AM – Depart El Palace Hotel for Cruise Port – Oceania Nautica **Waiting on Oceania to advise on actual arrival times for the group**
